HIGHLY COMMENDED: STEFANUTTI STOCKS BUILDING KZN, LIBERTY LIFE PROJECT - PHASE 2 HOTEL
The Phase 2 Hotel project commenced in March 2009 with practical completion date set for May 2010. The tight program implemented to meet the completion date proved challenging, especially considering that the basement was to be four levels below ground level. Four levels of parking also had to be built before being able to commence with the hotel itself. Taking into account that the project footprint covered the entire construction area, the site was extremely tight and demanding.
