In order to double the Woolworths footprint it was necessary to create new areas and to relocate two fashion shops and a bottle store. The reconfiguration and modernisation of the toilet facilities were undertaken and a new toilet facility for the staff of the centre with a change room was created in what had formerly been a storeroom.
The modernization of the front façade involved plastering and painting the main wall face as well as installing structural steel work and roof sheeting. Extensive renovations were undertaken on various retail outlets and to complete the project, a restaurant was constructed facing onto the main car park.
