Work conducted at Addington Hospital entailed the upgrading of the external envelope to core buildings, admissions and administration building, main hospital wards 16 floors, roof top cooling towers and lift rooms, Theatre Block 5 floors, paving, driveways and civils works. Specialists Installations include electrical and mechanical works to the existing HVAC installations. The scope of works for internals entailed the upgrading of radiology and 3rd Floor theatres.
HIGHLY COMMENDED : HURST PROJECTS (PTY) LTD - LYTHWOOD LODGE - WEDDING VENUE
This project entailed the design and building of an outdoor wedding venue with flexibility for multipurpose functions that allows for the Midlands weather conditions. It also featured the construction of a concrete staircase down to the venue with a concrete island for a Normadic type stretch tent. The island was surrounded by water and ponds with extensive landscaped surrounds.
