WINNER: SUSAL CONSTRUCTION CC -ADDITIONS & ALTERATIONS TO SAN LAMEER CLUB HOUSE
The scope of work on this project was Additions and Alterations to the existing Club House on the San Lameer Estate. This involved the construction of a new concrete slab and staircase over the existing open patio to enlarge the Club House. Plus the addition of a new store room and new passage between the Pro Shop and the Club House. A new open patio and upper deck area with new balustrade were constructed. The balance of the works was to revamp the Halfway House, Male and Female Ablutions and the existing Pro Shop.
HIGHLY COMMENDED 1: C & R CONTRACTORS KWAZULU CC - ADDITIONS & ALTERATIONS TO GALLERIA SHOPPING CENTRE ICE RINK
This involved the stripping out of the old ice rink and replacing it with a new rink that did not leak into the floors of the shopping centre below. Research by C & R resulted in the best method of completing this challenging refit. In addition the entire plant room was upgraded.
HIGHLY COMMENDED 2: LIVIERO BUILDING (PTY) LTD - GOLDEN HORSE CASINO
The Golden Horse Casino project included demolitions within the existing Tote and Salon Privé included the removal of ceilings, existing services, existing shop fronts, old shop fittings and drywall partitions, demolition of plaster and brickwork and the removal of existing floor finishes.
